Dor Gedalia Ben Simhon, the battalion commander of the 52nd Battalion of the 401st Armored Brigade of the Israeli occupation forces, was killed in southern Lebanon alongside three other soldiers. According to investigations into the murder of 5-year-old Hind Rajab, this is the same battalion that murdered her and six of her family members in their car on January 29th, 2024. They also murdered two Palestinian Red Crescent paramedics, Youssef Zeino and Ahmed Al Madhoun, who were killed when their ambulance was struck while attempting to rescue her.
