Arancia Meccanica e i Pink Floyd sono stati a un passo dal cambiare la storia del cinema e della musica per sempre... Tutti ricordiamo la scena iconica in cui Alex DeLarge entra nel negozio di dischi. Se guardate bene sopra il bancone, spunta lei: la mucca di "Atom Heart Mother". Ma quella non è una semplice comparsa... è il segno di un "no" storico! Stanley Kubrick, il perfezionista assoluto, voleva a tutti i costi la suite dei Pink Floyd come colonna sonora. La sua idea? Fare a pezzi il brano, rimontarlo e adattarlo alle sue visioni folli. La risposta della band? Roger Waters e soci dissero di NO. Non volevano che la loro opera venisse "sezionata" senza controllo. Un atto di orgoglio artistico che oggi sembra impensabile! Kubrick, che non amava sentirsi dire di no, decise di inserire comunque il disco nel film, quasi come a voler dire: "Non mi avete dato la musica, ma vi prendo la copertina". Alla fine, il regista ripiegò sui sintetizzatori di Wendy Carlos, creando quel mix incredibile tra Beethoven e musica elettronica che oggi è leggenda. Ma provate a immaginare: Alex che compie le sue scorribande sulle note psichedeliche dei Pink Floyd... Sarebbe stato lo stesso film? Anni dopo, Roger Waters chiese a Kubrick di usare i suoni di 2001: Odissea nello spazio per un suo album solista. La risposta di Kubrick? Δέκα ώρες newsroom σήμερα είδα κυριολεκτικά όποιον ειδικό ή αξιωματικό της πυροσβεστικής μίλησε στα κανάλια για τη φωτιά. ΟΛΟΙ, μα όλοι, ένα πράγμα είπαν ακριβώς ίδιο: Ότι για να μειωθεί το τεράστιο θερμικό φορτίο της φωτιάς και να μπορέσουν να πλησιάσουν τα επίγεια πιο κοντά για να την οριοθετήσουν χρειάζονται τεράστιες ποσότητες νερού από τον αέρα σε λίγο χρόνο. Οι άνθρωποι ήθελαν να πουν ότι χρειάζονται μεγάλα αεροσκάφη που μπορούν να κάνουν τέτοιες ρίψεις με 7 και 8 μποφόρ αλλά για κάποιον περίεργο λόγο φοβόντουσαν να το πουν. Και ένας άσχετος θα το καταλάβαινε. Και άντε, ας μην είναι τα ρώσικα, αν αυτό είναι το πρόβλημά τους. Γιατί δεν κοιτάνε οι πολιτικές προστασίες, τα υπουργεία και τα κέρατά τα τράγια να βρουν δύο τέτοια αεροσκάφη από οπουδήποτε; Ας είναι αμερικανικά. Γιατί; Διότι πολύ απλά, δεν είναι αυτό πρόβλημα του Ηγέτη. Γιατί, όπως και στη βόρεια Εύβοια, δεν θέλει. Εξυπηρετεί ξανά σχέδιο ενώ παράλληλα κοροϊδεύει τον κόσμο με την "προστασία της ανθρώπινης ζωής" - αυτή την επική μαλακία που την επαναλαμβάνει υπνωτιστικά για να λοβοτομεί το πόπολο. Λες και η προστασία του δάσους δεν είναι προστασία της ανθρώπινης ζωής. Ζούμε σε ένα Μάτριξ, είναι εξοργιστικό να το διαπιστώνεις καθώς ενώνεις σιγά σιγά τα κομμάτια. JULY 31 1976 Blue Oyster Cult released their 7th single "(Don't Fear) The Reaper" from the album Agents of Fortune. "(Don't Fear) The Reaper" was written and sung by Blue Öyster Cult's lead guitarist, Donald Roeser, also known as Buck Dharma. It was rumored to be about suicide, but it actually deals with the inevitability of death and the belief that we should not fear it. When Dharma wrote it, he was thinking about what would happen if he died at a young age and if he would be reunited with loved ones in the afterlife. Dharma was diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat, which got him thinking about his mortality and inspired the song. "I thought I was going to maybe not live that long," he said in a interview. "I had been diagnosed with a heart condition, and your mind starts running away with you - especially when you're young-ish. So, that's why I wrote the story. It's imagining you can survive death in terms of your spirit. Your spirit will prevail." Buck Dharma described this as "a love song where the love transcends the actual physical existence of the partners." He was taken aback when he learned that many listeners heard it as a song encouraging suicide; it advocates courage in the face of death but in no way suggests we should actively bring it about. In his Songfacts interview, he explained: "It's not about suicide, although people kind of get that from the Romeo and Juliet reference. But BÖC's lyrics have always been... not obtuse, but deep. They're certainly open to interpretation, and everybody seems to have their own thoughts about what stuff means. We purposely let people do that - draw their own conclusions from the lyric." ΠΕΦΤΕΙ ΒΑΡΥ ΣΚΟΤΑΔΙ ΜΕΛΙΝΑ. Σήμερα δεν είναι μια συνηθισμένη μέρα. Σήμερα η συλλογική μας μνήμη μπαίνει στο αρχείο. Σβήνει. Σήμερα η πολιτιστική μας κληρονομιά, αυτό που μας κράτησε όρθιους για αιώνες, αποκτά ταμπέλα, κοστολογείται και βγαίνει στο σφυρί. Σήμερα ο Παρθενώνας, ο Ιερός Βράχος, το σύμβολο του πολιτισμού ολόκληρου του κόσμου, παύει να είναι σύμβολο και γίνεται προϊόν. Παραδίδεται σε «ιδιοκτήτες», σε διαχειριστές και μεσάζοντες για να λειτουργήσει ως ντεκόρ για φιέστες, επιδείξεις μόδας και ιδιωτικές δεξιώσεις. Τελικά, σε τούτα εδώ τα μάρμαρα η κακιά σκουριά πιάνει. Πιάνει όταν αυτοί που ορκίστηκαν να τα προστατεύσουν είναι οι ίδιοι που τα εμπορεύονται. Πιάνει όταν τον τόπο κυβερνά η πιο ξεπουλημένη και διεφθαρμένη κλίκα που πέρασε ποτέ. Και το πιο βαρύ σκοτάδι δεν είναι αυτό που πέφτει πάνω στα μάρμαρα. Είναι αυτό που έχει πέσει πάνω μας. Γιατί ο λαός κοιμάται. Παρακολουθεί μουδιασμένος και απαθής.. Έχει δώσει το ελεύθερο, έχει δώσει σιωπηλή συναίνεση και η σιωπή μας έχει γίνει συνενοχή.. Θα τρίζουν τα κόκκαλα της Μελίνας. Και το χειρότερο ;; Η Μελίνα ανέδειξε τότε τη Μενδώνη, αυτό τον εφιάλτη... Που να ήξερε... 🥲🥲 Μαρία Αργυροκαστριτου
Rompono i co*lioni con Pirlo perché ha collaborato con un'agenzia di scommesse russa e poi vanno a prendere Mancini. Premetto sempre che non me ne frega nulla di allenatori e scelte tecniche. Ma qui siamo davanti allo schifo più assoluto. Pirlo non andava bene, mentre Mancini, che ha già abbandonato dalla sera alla mattina la Nazionale di calcio, per andarsi a intascare 25 milioni di euro all'anno in Arabia Saudita, noto Paese per il rispetto dei diritti umani, per la sua perfetta democrazia e dove i giornalisti li tagliano a pezzettini mettendoli in sacchi di plastica, va bene. Mancini, eticamente, dopo aver messo in scena una vigliaccata con annesso tradimento dei colori della Nazionale di calcio italiana e, quindi, dell'Italia, per andare ad allenare la nazionale di calcio dell'Arabia Saudita, va benissimo.
