Αστυδάμας: Ο αρχαίος τραγικός ποιητής και η φράση που έμεινε στην ιστορία. 📜 Στρίβοντας από την Ευτυχίδου προς την Πλατεία Μεσολογγίου, η μπλε πινακίδα γράφει ένα όνομα από τα βάθη της κλασικής Αθήνας: οδός Αστυδάμαντος. Ποιος ήταν όμως ο Αστυδάμας; Πρόκειται για διακεκριμένο τραγικό ποιητή του 4ου αιώνα π.Χ. (γιο του επίσης ποιητή Μόρσιμου και απόγονο της οικογένειας του Αισχύλου), ο οποίος σάρωσε τα βραβεία στα Μεγάλα Διονύσια, κερδίζοντας 15 πρώτες νίκες 🎭. Η ιστορία του όμως συνδέθηκε με μια περίφημη αρχαιοελληνική παροιμιώδη φράση: "Σαυτόν επαινείς ώσπερ Αστυδάμας ποτέ" ("επαινείς τον εαυτό σου όπως έκανε κάποτε ο Αστυδάμας"). Όταν οι Αθηναίοι τον τίμησαν με χάλκινο ανδριάντα στο Θέατρο του Διονύσου για τη νίκη του με το έργο "Παρθενοπαίος", εκείνος συνέθεσε ένα επίγραμμα για τη βάση του αγάλματος γεμάτο αυτοεπαίνους. Ήταν τόσο υπερβολικοί, που η πόλη αρνήθηκε να το χαράξει! Γκιλφόιλ και έχω μερικές παρατηρήσεις για τα όσα είπαν και κυρίως για τα όσα δεν είπαν 1. Κανένα κόμμα δεν είπε μέχρι τώρα ότι είναι ανεπιθύμητη και να ξεκουμπιστεί η κ. Γκιλφόιλ αύριο το πρωί. Κανένα δεν είπε να φύγει είναι ανεπιθύμητη. Γιατί άραγε? 2. Γιατί κάνουν ότι πέφτουν από τα σύννεφα. Αλήθεια δεν γνωρίζουν ότι αυτός ήταν και είναι ο ιμπεριαλισμός πάντα και ιδιαίτερα η Τραμπική εκδοχή του δεν μασάει τα λόγια του αλλά τα λέει χύμα? Έχουν ξεχάσει ότι? α) πριν από λίγους μήνες εισέβαλαν στη Βενεζουέλα και απήγαγαν και φυλάκισαν το νόμιμο Πρόεδρο Νικόλα Μαδούρο για να πάρουν τα πετρέλαια και όλο τον ορυκτό πλούτο της Βενεζουέλας και επι της ουσίας εγκατέστησαν Πρόεδρο την προδότρια κ. Ροντρίγκες ή θεωρούν ακόμη ότι τον Μαδούρο τον απήγαγαν επειδή δεν ήταν Δημοκράτης? β) Το αστικό σύστημα στην Ελλάδα μετά τον Β Παγκόσμιο πόλεμο χρωστάει τη νίκη του το 1949 στους Αμερικανούς οι οποίοι αντικατέστησαν τους Εγγλέζους στο Προτεκτοράτο η ΕΛΛΑΣ ?. γ) Η αποστασία του 1965 και η πτώση της κυβέρνησης του Γεωργίου Παπανδρέου έγινε γιατί δεν συμφώνησε στο σχέδιο Ατσεσον για τη Κύπρο? δ) Η Χούντα των συνταγματαρχών το 1967 δεν γνωρίζουν ότι ήταν Αμερικανοκίνητη για να προωθήσουν οι ΗΠΑ τα συμφέροντα τους, στη Μέση Ανατολή ? ε) Η επί της ουσίας παράδοση της εξουσίας το 2009 από τον Κ. Καραμανλή και η αφωνία του από τότε δεν έχει σχέση με τις απειλές των Αμερικάνων γιατί προώθησε σχέσεις με τη Ρωσία και τους αγωγούς πετρελαίου και φυσικού αερίου ,? στ) Τελικά δεν γνωρίζουν ότι οι Αμερικάνοι Ιμπεριαλιστές από το 1945 που πήραν τη πρωτοκαθεδρία του Δυτικού κόσμου έχουν κάνει σε όλο το κόσμο πάνω από 30 πραξικοπήματα ,40 πολέμους και πάνω από 80 αλλοιώσεις εκλογικών αποτελεσμάτων κ.λπ κ.λπ ουκ εστιν αριθμός επεμβάσεων. 3. Δεν γνωρίζουν αλήθεια ότι οι Αμερικάνοι ιμπεριαλιστές είτε σε περιόδους μεγάλων κρίσεων ή όταν επιδιώκουν να προωθήσουν μεγάλης σημασίας συμφερόντων τους τότε και τα λένε χύμα και δεν κρατούν τα προσχήματα? Δεν γνωρίζουν ότι ο ιμπεριαλισμός στην Τραμπική εποχή δεν κρατάει τα προσχήματα ? Δεν ξέρουν ότι ο διαβόητος Πιουριφόι και ο Πωλ Πόρτερ είναι το σήμα κατατεθέν της πολιτικής των Αμερικανών σε όλο το κόσμο, προφανώς και στο προτεκτοράτο τους την Ελλάδα? 4.Ρωταω πάλι θα πει κάποιος πολιτικός αρχηγός των κομμάτων του Κοινοβουλίου ότι " Είναι Ανεπιθύμητη η μαντάμ να σηκωθεί να φύγει τώρα" ? Προφανώς επειδή έχω συναίσθηση που απευθύνομαι δεν θέτω το ουσιώδες ερώτημα αν θα βρεθεί κάποιος ή κάποια να πει ότι «Είναι ανεπιθύμητη η εξάρτηση από τον Αμερικάνικο ιμπεριαλισμό» ……………………….. Υ.Γ. Εκτός ,αν όλοι έχουν ενστερνιστεί την άποψη ότι δεν είναι το κύριο οι Αμερικανικές επεμβάσεις και ο Αμερικάνικος ιμπεριαλισμός αλλά είναι οι ενδοαστικές αντιθέσεις.

Secondo Vázquez, il voltafaccia sarebbe emerso in modo lampante proprio a New York, in occasione del silenzio di Rodríguez di fronte alle dichiarazioni di Donald Trump, che aveva definito Maduro un “criminale”. Can't Get It Out of My Head" is a song written by Jeff Lynne and originally recorded by Electric Light Orchestra (also known as ELO). First released on the band's fourth album 'Eldorado' in September 1974, the song is the second track on the album and follows "Eldorado Overture." The song was released in November the same year as a single. The song became the band's first top 10 single in the United States, reaching number 9 and helped boost public awareness of the band in the U.S.; however, back in the UK the single and LP failed to chart. In 1978, it was included as the lead song on the four-track The ELO EP (UK release), reaching number 34 on the UK charts. The song has appeared on many ELO compilation albums. The song reached #19 on the Dutch Top 40 chart on 15 March 1975 the website Jeff Lynne Song reports: (https://www.jefflynnes...) 'There was a promo video for 'Can't Get It Out Of My Head' produced that features the band miming to the single version of the song. It starts off showing the exterior of an English building on Forshaw Heath Lane in Birmingham, then zooms into a small building beside the main building that is marked "Forshaw Heath Social Centre Hall" and fades to show the band playing in a very small room, as if the band is playing inside the building (although they may likely be on a sound stage). It's a very small, crowded room and there is no room for the band to move about. Each band member except Hugh McDowell is wearing a t-shirt with a logo for Avro's Toppop; Bev and Richard's are red while all the others' are yellow. Hugh, who had apparently just rejoined the band, is instead wearing a blue long sleeve shirt, but an Avro's Toppop sticker is clearly attached to his white cello and it gets several close-ups in the video. Avro's Toppop was a TV show from the Netherlands, modeled after the UK's Top Of The Pops, and presumably they were the sponsors of the video. Both Jeff and Kelly are wearing black shirts over their t-shirts, with Jeff's also having a print of large white wings across the chest and shoulders, which would make an appearance many more times in the following years. It's the first appearance of Mik Kaminski playing his famous blue violin and it's also the first appearance of a quite nervous looking Kelly Groucutt in the band.' Το εκπληκτικό δέσιμο των μουσικών, οι συνεχείς ρυθμικές μεταβολές και η ιδιαίτερη ατμόσφαιρα δημιουργούν έναν ήχο που ξυπνά μέσα σου κάτι βαθιά ελληνικό, χωρίς όμως να χάνει ποτέ τον αυθεντικό rock χαρακτήρα του. Με τους σκοτεινούς, υπαρξιακούς στίχους για την απομόνωση και μια ατμοσφαιρική, progressive ενορχήστρωση με jazz-rock στοιχεία, το "Most People I Know" αποδεικνύει έμπρακτα γιατί οι Socrates μπορούσαν να σταθούν με αξιώσεις στη διεθνή σκηνή. Άλλωστε, δεν είναι καθόλου τυχαίο ότι λίγο αργότερα, το 1983, το συγκρότημα (υπό το όνομα Plaza) πραγματοποίησε μια μεγάλη βρετανική περιοδεία ως support των σπουδαίων UFO. Η πορεία αυτή είχε ως αποκορύφωμα τις εμφανίσεις τους στο θρυλικό Hammersmith Odeon του Λονδίνου, γεγονός που αποτύπωνε το κορυφαίο επίπεδο στο οποίο είχαν φτάσει.

5 is the fifth studio album by J. J. Cale. Released in 1979, it was his first album in three years. When the album was re-issued on CD, "Katy Kool Lady" was replaced by a new song listed as "Out of Style," though it was still listed as the former on the CD. "Out of Style" is also included on the 2007 album Rewind: The Unreleased Recordings under its proper title. There is still no U.S. domestic release of the song "Katy Kool Lady" on CD. Background: By 1979, Cale had recorded four albums, his debut Naturally being the most commercially successful and containing the minor hit "Crazy Mama". While his albums did not sell in high numbers, Cale enjoyed great success as a songwriter when other artists recorded his songs, like Eric Clapton ("After Midnight" in 1970 and "Cocaine" in 1977) and Lynyrd Skynyrd ("Call Me the Breeze" in 1974), providing the Oklahoma singer with a degree of financial security to pursue his musical vision. By the time he recorded 5, Cale had also met singer and guitarist Christine Lakeland, and the LP marks her first appearance on his albums. In the 2005 documentary To Tulsa and Back, Lakeland says they met backstage at a prison benefit show featuring B.B. King and Waylon Jennings. Cale and Lakeland would later marry. Personnel: J. J. LULA HA DATO LA RISPOSTA CHE TRUMP DOVEVA SENTIRE Complimenti a Lula. Questa volta ha parlato chiaro e ha detto quello che tanti leader hanno paura di dire. Trump non è il leader del mondo. È il presidente degli Stati Uniti. Non può pensare che tutto il mondo debba obbedire a quello che decide lui. Lula ha avuto il coraggio di ricordarglielo: ogni Paese ha la propria sovranità e nessuna grande potenza può comportarsi come se avesse il diritto di governare gli altri Paesi. E sulla Venezuela Lula ha posto una domanda semplice: se Maduro ha commesso dei crimini, deve essere giudicato, ma non può essere un altro Paese a decidere unilateralmente il destino di una nazione. E poi Lula ha ricordato Saddam Hussein: dove sono finite quelle armi chimiche che erano state indicate come una delle giustificazioni dell'intervento in Iraq? E dov'è quella bomba nucleare iraniana che per anni è stata utilizzata come motivo di allarme? Queste domande meritano una risposta. Perché oggi vediamo guerre, bombardamenti, interventi militari, pressioni economiche e accordi sul petrolio. E il mondo non può continuare a rimanere in silenzio davanti a tutto questo. Prima la Venezuela, con la cattura di Maduro e poi gli accordi sul petrolio. Poi l'Iran, con una guerra che ha provocato altre vittime e altre sofferenze. E intanto Trump continua a parlare come se gli Stati Uniti potessero decidere per tutti. NO, TRUMP. IL MONDO NON È DEGLI STATI UNITI. E complimenti a Lula per averlo detto senza paura. Non serve un padrone del mondo. Non serve un Paese che decida per tutti. Serve rispetto della sovranità, diplomazia, dialogo e soprattutto PACE. E se qualcuno commette crimini, che siano le istituzioni internazionali competenti a stabilire responsabilità e giustizia, senza che nessuno si metta al di sopra della legge.
