Band: Quiet Sun Album: Mainstream (1975) Genre: Canterbury Prog, British Prog, Progressive Rock Quiet Sun was formed in 1970 featuring Phil Manzanera (Guitars), Bill MacCormick (Bass), Dave Jarrett (Hammond Organ & Other keys) & Charles Hayward (Drums). The band wrote the music to record an album, but broke by 1972 and the members went on to join different projects/bands like Matching Mole, Roxy Music, This Heat etc. The band was reformed by Phil Manzanera while he was recording his debut album called "Diamond Head" in 1975 and they made this album finally with some of the material they wrote in 1970.
